  • We can start by offering you a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation to ensure a smooth transition into therapy.

    To request this consultation, please feel free to contact me at your convenience. During our initial conversation, I will inquire about your therapy goals and the reasons behind your decision to seek therapy. This will also be an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have.

    If we both determine that we are a good match and you wish to proceed, I will arrange our first Telehealth or phone call session. At that time, I will gather your contact information and provide you with all necessary intake documents, such as consent forms, a credit card authorization form, releases of information, and more.

    During our initial session, I will assess any symptoms you may be experiencing, delve deeper into your therapy goals, and ask relevant background questions. Since everyone is unique, I believe in tailoring my treatment approach to meet each individual's needs. I am more than willing to dedicate a few sessions to help you feel comfortable in the therapy environment.

  • Counseling sessions are typically held weekly for new clients.

    This allows us to develop goals that fit your needs, build rapport, and gain momentum. Sometimes, if sessions are less frequent, it can feel like you have to play catch-up instead of being able to process and work towards your goals more deeply. Over time, you may choose to transition to biweekly appointments.

  • The flexibility of online therapy and coaching allows for sessions to be joined from your location.

    Studies have shown that the effectiveness of therapy is consistent whether it is done in person or online. Ultimately, the key to achieving positive outcomes lies in the quality of the therapeutic relationship, highlighting the importance of finding the right therapist for you.

  • Please take note of the following information:

    • 50-55 minute sessions are $120.

    • 75-90-minute sessions offered as needed.

    I do not work with insurance providers. However, you may still be able to use your out-of-network mental health benefits depending on your insurance plan. After each session, I can provide you with a Superbill. You can then submit this to your insurance company to request reimbursement or to help meet your deductible.

    To understand your benefits, contact your insurance company's member services line, which you can find on your insurance card or online. When reaching out, ask the following questions:

    - What mental health services are covered for out-of-network providers?

    - What is my out-of-network deductible, and have I already made any payments toward it? When does it reset?

    - How much will my plan reimburse for sessions with CPT codes 90791 and 90837?

    - What is the reimbursement process, and how long do I have to submit my Superbill?

    - After submitting my Superbill, what are the next steps, and how long does it take to receive reimbursement?

    There are apps and websites, such as Reimbursify, that can assist you with the reimbursement process, including filing claims on your behalf.

    Please keep in mind that to utilize your out-of-network benefits, you will need a mental health diagnosis.

  • A minimum of 24 hours before your session is required to cancel a scheduled session. If prior and timely notification is not given, you will be charged the full session fee for the missed session.
